Do you offer free pickup or free recycling in Washington?
No. Free recycling makes its money by reselling your hardware whole, online or overseas, which is exactly how retired drives end up in a breach. Our fee pays technicians to disassemble your equipment, inspect every part that could hold data, and destroy those parts on your site with a certificate. If nothing sensitive was ever on the equipment, free may be fine. If your data is regulated or classified, it is not. Why free is not free.
